OPI Ski Teal We Drop

It's been a long time since I've written - but I'm feeling OK today from my surgery and didn't have much left on my DVR so I got back to my latest obsession - my nails.
(I think only one person noticed that I stopped posting.  =D thanks for that!)

When my friend told me she picked this color at a nail salon I had my doubts but while spending a day with her I fell in love with it.  We went to my new "go to" store for OPI nail polishes since she chipped her nail and wanted to touch it up and sure enough, they had it!!   OPI Ski Teal We Drop is from the OPI Swiss Collection (Fall 2010) and is definitely not something that I would have picked up on my own, but I am VERY happy that I have it now.  With Thanksgiving only two days away I felt this was a great color to try this week.

I took pictures before I decided on a design, so here is a swatch of the plain Ski Teal We Drop color.  It is very hard to photograph the true color, and I have decided that I am awful at keeping my hand still when pushing the shutter button, so almost every picture I took came out blurry!

On to the design!!  Because of the holiday I didn't want my nails to be too crazy so I did a simple french tip with OPI Glitzerland.  This is also part of the OPI Swiss Collection.  This is my first attempt at doing a french tip and I am quite surprised at how they turned out.  I also love how these two colors look together!
